Our gardeners are the experts in the horticultural side, knowing which plants need to go where for the best visual aspect, drainage, and utilising the soil available, they will lay or seed your lawn, maintain and mow the lawns and ensure all your shrubs, trees and plants are currently pruned to keep the garden well managed and looking at its best.
HOW WE WORK
Initial meeting with the client
All of the gardening projects we work on are unique in that every family has different needs depending on the current use of their garden, A family with small children will use their garden very differently that an elderly couple who may have limited mobility and are looking for the garden to be a safe place to spend time and relax but how we work remains the same.
We always make an initial visit, even though we are meeting outside, we will be respecting social distancing and ensuring we are meeting any Covid restrictions. The aim of the initial visit is meet the family in their garden space to gain a clear and visual understanding of how they want to be able to use the garden, this is where memories will be made. This part of the process is vital, we take our time to get to know our clients.
Provision of a written quotation
There will then be a written quote, this will include recommendations based on the discussions with the family and a time plan will be included taking into account when the family get the most use from the garden.
It is important to get the timing right. We prefer to send over the quotation so the customer has time to read over and think about any questions they might have, rather than feeling pressurised to make a decision when we are there.
Booking in the job
If the client decides to go ahead, then a discussion will take place around Health and Safety, how to ensure the garden remains secure for children or pets, many clients have dogs and it is imperative we make sure they are kept secure at all times.
Once a date has been agreed, we map out the time line, agreeing when payments are due and when the expected date for the garden to be returned to the client.
